Sample reports from AFI Research: America Goes To War

Special coverage from September 11, 2001 to May, 2002. We resume normal month by month coverage on 3/1/2002.

Note: MILNET reserves the right to delay publication of information that might be dangerous to U.S. or its allies' troops in the field. An example is the 9/29/01 story of special forces in operations. European and Middle East sources on the ground are reporting clashes between U.S. and British troops with Taliban. U.S. mainstream media are not reporting these clashes. To be on the safe side, we did not publish the AFI account until a full day from the time we received the story from our friends from AFI Research. Similarly, a 10/2 AFI article on the movement of the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk was delayed 4 days to ensure transit time to the region. Of course, the AFI email list brought the story to their subscribers almost as it happened. We highly recommend those who MUST know what the government is not telling and the mainstream media is not reporting should subscribe to the AFI Research reports by emailing a request to AFI Research . And if you are worried that the Taliban will gain from AFI's reporting, think it through -- they already know they are being clobbered!
