Osama bin Laden,
a.k.a. Usama bin Laden, a.k.a. Usama bin Ladin Born: March 10, 1957, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Attended Al-Thager Model School, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and then went on to King Abdulaziz University where he earned a degree in civil engineering in 1979 and in economics/public administration in 1981. While at university he became part of the Muslim Brotherhood, a loose oranization esposing the radical Islamic believes that are the trademark of Islamid Jihadism. OBL is known to have rejected the Brotherhood's non-violent approach and began looking for ways to force the changes the Brotherhood desired in a more direct manner. In 1984 he established MAK (Office of Order) in Peshwar, Pakistan to funnel his wealth into training for the Mujadiheen fighters in Afghanistan. OBL's hatred of the infidel and colonization as well as his believe the Saudis were appeasing and cow-towing to the West made him virulently anti-American. He formed Al-Qaeda sometime in 1989 when he split from MAK. His Saudi citizenship was revoked in 1994. It is believed OBL has kidney disease and on dialysis.
