Petro Terrorsim:  Where Your Dollars Go To, 06/01/2008

Instead of whining about the excessive profits the oil companies in the U.S. are gleefully hauling in while those same Corps whine about higher costs, the American People should be angry and outraged by where a big chunk of their $4.00 per gallon is going...right into the hands of the terrorists.  And meanwhile light bulbs are destined to become useless.  You want to talk about an endangered species, how about the air conditioner?

Petro Dollars First

How does this work?  Simple economics of course, and a little misdirection by the arab cartel OPEC whose petro-dollars quickly find their way into the hands of every Middle Eastern terrorist group.  The idea that al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and the nearly 100 Islamic Jihadist groups found in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, (the list goes on) live off of everyday Muslim donations is the biggest Middle Easterrn lie in the region's history.

The facts are that the same countries making billions off our thirst for gasoline and oil are also those funding terrorism.  And not so indirectly as they would like you to think.  This is why the Bush Administration has been jabbing spears into the sides of financial institutions linked to the Terrorists.  And why does the U.S. have to do this?  Because the petro-rich Arab nations won't do it.  Indeed, they practice the ancient middle eastern art of double speak on the subject.  The front of the hand says one thing, the back says the other. And it's the back of the hand that is killing us.

So when OPEC refuses to step up production in any significant way, and the world's petro speculators jab us by wildly forcing oil prices higher, it's more than hitting you in the pocketbook, it's setting up conditions to kill more infidels...that's you and me, folks.

Don't believe it?  Do a little research.  The oil-rich producers are well documented as supplying the terrorists.  And when the U.S. complained just after 9/11 and has continued to attempt to apply pressure, the Arab nations have literally ignored us.  What are we going to do?  Cut off our purchases?  Sure, that will happen.

Oil purchases by the world's non-Middle Eastern oil companies is a U.S. National Security problem.  Indeed, it is a clear and present danger -- we are funding those who would literally shatter our civilization in favor of Rule by the Law of Sharra -- the Islamic Extremist's version backed by Salaf beliefs and that nasty little thing called Violent Jihad.  While Congress and Presidential candidates debate the finer points of negotiating with the terrorists and appeasement, the reality is that we've already lost the most important war.

Decades of inattention to a real energy policy and decades of environmental nutcase philosophy have ruined the U.S. ability to supply our nation with energy of any kind.  We are heading for a energy collapse in a decade.  There is only so much energy you can suck out of hydroelectric and wind power, and try as they will, domestic producers are at the point where they can squeeze no more power out of existing power plants.  The haitus in building power plants has created a positive failure in our infrastructure.  Even starting to build today will not ease the problem one iota.

Fear tactic?   B.S.

Impending Energy Crunch NEXT (And Soon!)

Let's see Congress apply their Congressional Research Service on this question.   Will the U.S. supply of power from all domestic sources meet the needs of the country's corporate infrastructure and domestic usage by the year 2018?  How many new energy production facilities will be required to meet this challenge, and can any one or two types of energy production facilities (nuclear, coal, hydroelectric, or other) meet this demand if we start building in 2008?

I already know the answer, I did paper napkin math and was horrified.  Even before 2018, we are faced with a power crunch beyond anything we have ever seen.  And I haven't begun to address the gasoline and oil numbers.

Another question for the Congressional Research Service.  If we began crash programs to develop offshore oil resources and opened Anwar, a) how long would it REALLY take to provide full production, b) would this production significantly effect the price of oil and gas for the consumer and transportion industry (truckers especially), and c) combining all known alternative fuel and traditional fuel sources domestically in the next one to two decades, what would be required in the way of production (and is it even possible) in order to be independent from Middle Eastern Oil?  I'd also like to know, as John Q. Citizen, if our government hasn't already let us down...that is to say, are we already well behind the power curve?  I don't give a damn who did it, left, right or middle.  I want to know the truth and what it will take to fix it.  If our elected government can't get right on it, then we will start throwing them out of office until we find some people who can.

Can we ever reach energy independence?  Or is our national security forever bound to the Middle East oil crazies who also feed our Islamic extremist enemies?  Isn't the friend of our enemy also our enemy?  Just because the Saudis and their neighbors say they are our oil friends doesn't hide the fact that theya are the best thing that has happened to Islamic Extremism.  As long as people claim to be our friends and then hand the weapons to kill us to our enemies, and we ignore this, we remain stupid and arrogant.

It is time to stop the farse and take our enemies at their word.  They mean to destroy us, and some of our so called friends are helping them. Is it profiling to assume the Arabs and Asian threat from Islamic Extremism destined to rub us out?  Fine.  So be it.  We are going to have to be a little insensitive to religious and even racial issues.  You have to live with security before you can explore the finer points of liberalism.  Liberalism at the sake of survival is not only stupid, it is self annihilation.  There is no justification for such stupidity.

I weep for no loss of comfort.  There is no constitutional mandate to feel comfortable with a society steering itself to self destruction.  In fact, reading the document points to national security as a major tenant with freedoms integrated with the right to exist as a free and soverign nation.   You cannot have one without the other...America must survive before it can BE America.  Get it?  The left might believe everything is hunky dorey.  The right might hope for something better while the left falsely brags they will bring it.  The problem is that neither is doing the job right now.  The partisan B.S. is killing us and it is not rocket science or dream-based, false data input into simulators like the global warming nonsense.

Is it about oil?  Sure, why not.  Of course it isn't that simple, but if you want to simplify it that way, then go ahead.  Whatever it takes.  Our very survival is dependent upon our abilty to stop the flow of petro dollars into the hands of the Arab nations, as well as turn our attention to would-be dictators in South America who want to also start their own petro blackmail.  We need to build a funded, viable plan to remove our dependence on unfriendly nations for oil and energy of any type.  If that takes an oil derrick in someone's back yard, too damned bad.  And real power usage in business and our homes is even more at peril.

This is now about survival, and survival now not in a hundred years or so.  If social security worries you, forget it.  Long before social security runs out of money, we'll have spent our last dollar buying fuel or power.

It's certainly not about inconvenience to today's threatened lizard.  It is not about helping the poor from Mexico and Latin American nations sneaking into our country for a chance at our money.  We are beyond that now.

Every illegal is consuming and swelling the population well beyond our abilty to support them. When does the influx of new bodies become significant?   It happened two decades ago.  And it continues pretty much unchecked, with population numbers well beyond projections two decades ago that ignored the unwanted illegal population boom, AND THEIR CHILDREN who automatically become new citizens!  We're well past the stage where environmental concerns for a century or two from now matter, well beyond a kind heart and helping hand to Latinos matters at all.  We have to live through the next couple of decades.  How can the world's leading economy survive a power catastrophe?  It can't.  IF WE DO NOT FIX THIS STARTING TODAY, IT IS LIKELY WE WILL NOT BE HERE TO WORRY ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING OR ENDANGERED SPECIES.  Oops.

For those who believe we have all the time in the world...get a clue.   If you can claim double digit century effects of global warming is a pressing issue based upon horribly flawed science, what about the power crash coming at us a helluva lot sooner?  How many scientists believe we will have fuel enough for our cars in 2018 and power for our homes and factories?  Nobody concerned about that?  This is a national tragedy.  Oops.  Of course we do have a semi-working mars probe in operation.  Hot Damn!  Fortunately, there is no planned replacement for the Shuttle.  Maybe we can turn some of the space dollars into petro dollars?  We'd better do something, and damned quick.  Let's apply some of those brains we have trained in the last two decades to simply solving this one impending disaster.  If you think corn is going to solve this folks, guess again.  Even if you could put an ear of corn directly into your car, there aren't enough to also feed Intel, Microsoft and Hewlett Packard combined over the next twenty years.  Oops.

Why isn't the coming energy crisis glamorous and lefty, warmy, fuzzy like global warming?  Don't know, but we'd better get off our asses, this train crash has already started.
