space related systems; works with theater commanders on integration
of space systems into exercises and war plans; and develops concepts
and prototypes for employing emerging technology for advanced
space systems and missions.
Multi-Source Tactical System (MSTS)
The MSTS provides a six-layered picture of the operational theater
for aircrews. It combines tactical, intelligence, and digital
mapping information with near realtime Airborne Warning and Control
(AWACS) information to update flight crews enroute to their targets.

accomplishment of Airland operations doctrine
- Executes the Army Space Exploitation Demonstration Program
(ASEDP)
Roles
- By executing control of the Defense Satellite Communications
System, USARSPACE provides joint tactical forces (Army, AF, Marine
Corps) with assured access to satellite communications to support
C3 needs
- Advances Intelligence Preparation of the Battle- field (IPB)
by delivering terrain and weather imagery from commercial and
military satellites to produce terrain analysis and map-like products
