Alan J. Simpson

Global Communications Pioneer Alan Simpson is one of Washington's leading political communicators. He has project management experience in over 80 countries, with global media, intelligence analysis, sales and political negotiating skills.

Consultant to governments, broadcasters, investment banks and leading multinational corporations in diverse areas from intelligence, sales, global communications, to tourism, and economic development. For the Reagan Administration surveyed 125 US Embassies and Consulates and developed the USIA WorldNet global television information network. His background includes military aircrew and electronics with the Royal Air Force, senior management positions in industry, legal and law enforcement training.

An accredited journalist and broadcaster, he has spoken at the United Nations, New York on five occasions, testified before the House of Representatives, the US Senate, and keynoted major conferences, including at the prestigious Center for Strategic and International Studies. He has briefed and developed reports for governments, broadcasters and major corporations worldwide.

He has been fortunate to have pioneered many global media and information initiatives, including many of the first private satellite installations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Alan Simpson is a Member of the National Press Club, Radio and Television News Directors Association, Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, AFIO and lives outside of Washington, DC. He was nominated for President of the National Press Club in 2003.
