Remotely Powered Vehicles (RPV)

The Penatagon has been working with RPVs prior to 1989, with results in the few years being highly successful. The idea is to mount a camera or other sensors on a very upscale remote control aircraft or vehicle. The crew then flys the RPV over hostile territory and delivers either real time or stored imagery for analysis within minutes of its capture, as well as easily and quickly direct the platform to the area most tactically required.
