  Official SpyCruisetm Wrapup

During the week of March 10, 2002, the Centre for Counterintelligence and Security Studies sponsored the SpyCruisetm. The cruise, a typical 7 day vacation cruise reaching Grand Caymans; Roatan, Honduras; Belize, and Cozumel, Mexico; featured college level courses in intelligence matters from cold war cases to current espionage techniques. Attending were former agents of the Intelligence Community, authors, students (four actually receiving college credit for their attendance), and members of the general public interested in intelligence matters.

During the cruise, immenient professors from CI Center's staff provided expert lectures on their areas of interest and included a former Major General in the KGB tasked with recruiting agents in the U.S., former FBI field agents, a former CIA Officer, the U.S. gadget man and historian, the Chief Analyst for the Chinese Section of the FBI Counter Intelligence team, and many others.

With expert knowlege as well as years of study in the arena while on the job, the lecturers provided a once-in-a-lifetime overview of counter intelligence and important cases of espionage that could only be received by reading dozens of books on the subject. When mixed with the daytime activities that only a caribbean cruise could offer, the SpyCruisetm has to be one of the most enjoyable physically rewarding and intellectually stimulating experiences of your life.

MILNET highly recommends the SpyCruisetm to anyone interested in the area of counter intelligence and espionage, history buffs, or active agents in the Intelligence Community.
